Background: While Pink Floyd recorded the Wish you were here album, Syd came into the studio. They didn’t recogize him cause his appearence has changed. The bittersweet aspect is that they recorded at this time to songs which were dedicated to this wreck: Shine On… and Wish You Were here (“two lost souls swimmin’ in a fish bowl…”)
